Terna SpA Chief Executive Officer Luigi Ferraris wins the 2018 Utility Manager - Energy award
The award recognises his deep commitment to Terna in promoting an increasingly sustainable, efficient, safe and innovative energy model
Terna S.p.A Chief Executive Officer, Luigi Ferraris, has today received the 2018 Utility Manager - Energy award in Milan. This recognition is based on his “deep commitment to Terna in promoting an increasingly sustainable, efficient, safe and innovative energy model”.

Luigi Ferraris was presented the award by last year's winners: Alessandro Garrone and Luca Bettonte, Executive Vice President and CEO of ERG respectively. The award, decided through a secret vote, was assigned by a committee of members from the journal Management delle Utilities e delle Infrastrutture, composed of authoritative scholars and representatives of the industrial sector.

Luigi Ferraris has been the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Terna since May 2017.
Previously, he worked for the Enel Group holding various top-management positions, including Chief Financial Officer for the Group, Chairman of Enel Green Power and Manager of the Latin American area. He then moved on to the role of Chief Financial Officer for the Poste Italiane Group, which he led through the process of privatisation and stock market listing.
Ferraris started his career at PriceWaterhouse and he has held various managerial positions in important Italian and international industrial companies.
