The code for transmission, dispatching, developing and security of the grid (Grid Code) is applied in relations between Terna and grid users starting November 1, 2005.
This document was drawn up in compliance with the provisions stated in Prime Minister Decree dated May 11, 2004 regarding unification between ownership and management of the grid and on the basis of the directives of the Authority for Electricity and Gas as stated in resolution nr. 250/04.
The Grid Code, positively verified by the Authority for Electricity and Gas with resolutions nr. 79/05 and 49/06 as well as by the Ministry of Productive Activities, is submitted to a continuous updating process according to the procedures it establishes.
