The perfomance management system

The goal of the “Global Performance System” (GPS) is to drive the internal growth of the company. The GPS allows to carry out the following activities:

  • involve and motivate personnel as well as identify individual and company objectives
  • promote Terna’s organizational activities
  • encourage a constant exchange between chiefs and their staff based on performance, actual behavior and development
  • Under the GPS system, employees play an active role within the company. By seizing improvement opportunities and sharing their experiences and knowledge, employees can grow, as single individuals or in a group, which in turn will result in growth opportunities for the company itself. This system, which was introduced in 2008, currently involves a selected number of employees, all Officers and Managers.
