Activities

• Evaluating the technical feasibility of the connection, drawing up the connection estimates, drawing up the Detailed Minimum Technical Solution, and preparing the Connection Contract for RES production plants;
• carrying out studies and grid calculations in order to analyse the impacts of new connections on the system, identifying connection solutions that are efficient while guaranteeing the continuity and security of operation as well as the optimisation of system development in the medium and long term;
• managing technical coordination for all types of plants (RES and non-RES) by verifying the technical compliance of projects prepared by third parties with NTG standards, including with the support of the relevant technical structures of the company;
• coordinating the technical round tables for locating and designing NTG systems common to several parties, and which have the same connection solution;
• managing relations with local authorities and administrations regarding procedures for the authorisation of works to connect the production plants, together with the relevant company structures, and contributing to determining network intervention priorities.

• Developing and implementing policies, procedures and guidelines for information security governance, ensuring cyber risk management and compliance with industry regulations;
• conducting security audits on computer systems and networks, in-depth technical analyses aimed at identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting technical units in recovery plans;
• Implementing Security Measures: designing, implementing and managing information security solutions to protect the organisation's systems, networks and sensitive data through, for example, the installation of firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, data encryption solutions and other security measures;
• Security Monitoring: constantly analysing the IT environment to identify and promptly respond to potential threats or security breaches.

• Identifying the technological and market trends functional to the definition of the innovation strategy, the characterisation of the technological domains relevant to the Group, and the valorisation of the Group's intellectual property;
• Ensuring the execution of co-innovation projects with organisations that have a strong innovative vocation and which offer ready-made solutions to meet business needs;
• contributing to the valorisation phase of the start-ups in Terna Forward S.r.l.'s investment portfolio, including through the generation of business opportunities outside the Group;
• drawing up “Innovation Fact Sheets” in order to promote the incubation of new System Innovation needs and feed the Innovation Plan;
• drawing up, updating and monitoring the System Operator's Innovation Roadmap, through gap-analysis of the portfolio of ongoing innovation initiatives and interactions with other organisational structures.

• monitoring applications in operation: usage monitoring through reporting and dashboards, verification of data compilation and updating, studying and collecting input for the development of new functionalities;
• ensuring dialogue with external and internal interfaces to ensure they respond effectively to the needs identified;
